Lake Powell Kayak

We follow Arizona Standard Time (MST). During Daylight Savings time, which is March 8th - November 1st) you will experience a time change as you travel through the Navajo reservation. Electronic devices usually account for this time change during your travel to the location.
Temperatures during the summer can reach up to 100+ degrees. Heat exhaustion is a common risk for hikers during the summer. Please take note of this and dress appropriately, and stay hydrated.
Our Lake Powell Kayak Tour is roughly 4.5 hours.
Yes, a $30 fee is collected by a National Park Ranger once you enter the park. This fee is waived for those with active Military ID or a National Park Pass.
Our cut-off is 4 years old, and all children (and accompanying guests) will receive a life jacket upon arrival. All children under the age of 13 must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
Absolutely! You’re more than welcome to bring your snacks, drinks, lunch, etc. As long as you’re able to carry it with you.
Anything you think you’ll be the most comfortable in! We do recommend water shoes with some traction on the bottom as there is a short hike involved. A swimsuit or anything you’re okay with getting wet is fine. If you burn a bit easily from the sun and must cover up, athletic gear is the way to go. The material athletic wear is made from dries extremely quickly and is a bit lighter when wet compared to standard clothing.
Not including your assigned tour guide, your tour group will never exceed 15 guests at a time.
Unfortunately, due to National Park restrictions in Glen County, we are unable to allow any pets, or service animals, on our commercial tour. You may, however, bring your animal with you if you are renting a kayak through private means. If renting, you are required to bring a water bowl, a life jacket, a harness, and a leash for your fur babies at all times.
Yes, our kayaks can accommodate up to 260 lbs.
Unfortunately not, you’ll have to bring your own snacks, as we currently only provide bottled water.
Not at all! Lake Powell looks amazing at the moment, and the reported lower levels haven’t affected our excursions at all.
Any changes, cancellations, and no-shows within 48 hours are non-refundable. Anybody late is considered a no-show, and can reschedule for a $30 per person fee, but will not be refunded. If the tour is canceled due to extreme weather, we will offer a full refund.
You’ll have to reach out to your tour guide, personally, as they would have them on their phones. We can provide you with their number. The office does not hold any client photos.
Kayak Rentals

Our private kayak rentals are on a same-day basis. You may pick up your kayak anytime between 8:00 AM and 3:00 PM. All kayaks must be returned on the same day by 5:00 PM. Any returns after 5:00 PM will incur additional charges.
Yes, our single kayaks can accommodate up to 245 lbs. Our tandem kayak can accommodate up to 450 lbs.

Absolutely! You’re welcome to bring your snacks, drinks, lunch, etc. As long as you’re able to carry it with you. Please respect the Leave No Trace Behind policy and take any trash you accumulated with you when exiting Lake Powell.

Yes! It is also highly recommended to bring along a Waterproof Dry-Bag. These may be purchased directly on our website. Please keep in mind, should any items fall into the Lake, neither you nor our employees, are allowed to dive in and retrieve them.
If you’ve received an email directly from Antelope Kayak with your booking details (i.e. booking date, confirmation number, etc.) then you have already been confirmed electronically. One of our rental employees will also reach out a night before your booked rental date with your confirmed meet-up time, meeting point, and some bits of information.
The address is Navajo Rte. 22B just before Marina Pkwy. The address will also be outlined in the text message that will be sent to you via your tour guide a night before your excursion. Please input Antelope Point Launch Ramp into Google Maps.

The morning from 7:15 AM -10:45 AM or after 1:45 PM is normally the best time to view the canyon.
All ladders are equipped with safety handrails and bolted into the canyon walls. Your safety is always our number one concern during a tour. Please advise your guide if you are feeling uncomfortable in any way.
No, the Lower Antelope Canyon is located on the Navajo Nation Reservation which is separate from the National Parks Service.
Unfortunately, bags of any kind (including transparent bags), are not allowed.
Unfortunately, you are not able to view the canyon on your own. All tours require pre-booking with a tour guide, who will be present with their guests at all times.
Each time slot has a maximum capacity of 70 guests, which is split into smaller groups per guide. Each group is limited to 10 people or less.
All tours are about an hour to an hour and a half long. You are required to arrive 45 minutes before their departure time. You will be denied entry if you are late for your assigned tour.
You can absolutely bring a backpack-carrier, or a wrap/sling. We ask that children 2 years old and younger are placed in a hiking backpack. Strollers are not allowed into the canyon for safety reasons.
We do not allow pets on this tour. This includes service animals and therapeutic animals as well.
